The flute type pitot tube (averaging tube), also known as the Annubar averaging tube, is developed based on the principle of measuring flow velocity using pitot tubes. Due to its low pressure loss, low manufacturing cost, and easy installation and maintenance, it is widely used for measuring the average velocity or flow rate of gases or liquids in various pipelines (square or circular pipes). Using a pitot tube to measure flow velocity is a mature and reliable measurement method.
CLY flute shaped pitot tubeThe averaging tube is a hollow metal tube with multiple sets of total pressure holes drilled on the upstream side, which are located in the center of each unit area and reflect the flow velocity within each unit area. As each total pressure hole is connected, the average total pressure value at each point is transmitted to the high-pressure tapping port through the total pressure outlet tube.
